About the Project
One of Codelco's main concerns is to deliver a reliable website with information that can be trusted, so investors and the public will be informed about the company's activities, news, and projects. In 2022 we worked with the company to update the technical platform and renew the design of the website, to give it an updated look.
The website was designed and developed by AltaVoz using Prontus CMS, which offers a secure environment and is easy to use, giving the content teams the ability to update the website autonomously whenever necessary.
Automatic translation
We also developed English and Chinese versions of the website, focused on information for investors.
To streamline this process, an automatic translation tool was integrated directly into the CMS. This allows site administrators to select the content that needs translation, generate automatic translations, and edit them later if any adjustments are needed.
Prontus allows Codelco to manage several websites in a centralized way, making it easier for the Communications team to access each and create new areas or websites.
With our Support service, Codelco continually adds new functionality to the website and can keep all its software up to date.
Design and features
The design includes big images to showcase the company. There are areas to show numbers, relevant data, and quotes in different places as well, creating a story for the user to follow as they navigate the website.
The website has different pages designed for main operations, projects, information for shareholders, reports, and other documents. Some elements were added to make the information easier to understand, such as interactive graphs and dedicated search tools.
